Meet Erin Goss: Your Pickens County Candidate

Erin grew up in central Missouri, in a town much like Clemson. Like Clemson, Rolla, Missouri is home to a university (smaller than Clemson) whose focus on engineering and technology makes it an economic engine for the state and surrounding communities. Also like Clemson, Rolla faces many questions about how the university fits into its county. Watching her son grow in a town so much like the one where Erin grew up has led her to want to participate in the conversations about how the town, the university, and the county can all work together to help all Pickens County kids thrive.

Personal Life

When she is not working or organizing events, Erin enjoys reading, doing puzzles of various kinds, and spending time outside. She and her husband Brian also love to travel and have spent many excellent weekends and summers exploring new spaces from local SC parks to camping sites in Norway. These days they mostly travel to various soccer fields around the state and region to watch their son Finnegan play the sport he loves. A rising 7th grader at Edwards Middle School, Finnegan is super excited to watch his mom run for office and is the primary reason she’s up for it.
